My mother just picked up a new doggie and we just can not agree on a name. She is sticking to Murphy (named after a guy she knew in high school, granted this is a female dog), but I am suggesting everything that isn't Murphy. I do not like Murphy. Please help me with some alternatives. I am not creative enough to come up with something she'll like at the moment.

I tried to snap a couple pictures of her, but she is excited being in a new place and would not stay still:





Here is a picture of our current dog. His name is Boogie. He was already named when we rescued him. It might help with a new name knowing her playmate is Boogie:



She was also already named Boots, but we were not too fond of it. She is only eight months old so we feel comfortable changing her name without confusion. I would rather have Boots than Murphy, Boots and Boogie seems to fit. The mother is against that. I really just don't want a little female dog named Murphy. PLEASE help me out.
