My dogs name is Cocoa and many people asks me whats your dogs name and I say Cocoa allot of people said to me Cocoa is a females name. I was woundering what you think if Cocoa is a male or a female name?
If you have a similiar story about your dogs name I would be interested in you sharing your story.

CoCo is unisex! My mom's dog is named CoCo and he is male.
I know someone who had a female rat and a female cat named CoCo.I also know another male dog that lives up the street from my mom named CoCo.

It doesn't matter,it is a unisex name.

it doesn't matter... its your dog.. i name my dog "bogs" which is my nick name.. well my name is jack and it more like a dog's name. and for me it doesn't matter..

Cocoa is unisex i think.My friend has a dog is named Cocoa and she is female.

For me Cocoa sounds like a male name. It's your dog so you choose the name, not the others

IMO...I can say that Cocoa is a female name...But it doesn't matter if the name of your pet is for female...Hope you can share photos of him so that we can see him...

I vote Male. My dog's name is Nessie, she wears a purple collar and everyone who has ever addressed her says "he"... so it's an up-hill battle for everyone I'm starting to get the feeling that people who don't own dogs think they are all males
