hi im getting a dog and it is a pure breed mastif and i don't know hat to name it. i need help.

well if its a mastiff then i think you should name it something strong and bold, bc they are big strong dogs.

maybe Titus-if male....

i usually base my pet's name to their behavior, looks or any characteristics unique to them...

For me it's hard to name a dog before getting to know its personality. But there has been a few times i've seen a dog and my heart screams something and that's what i end up calling it and in the long run it fits, whether or not its just because i've focused my mind around what i have been calling him/her or if that's how they are portrayed. My suggestion is to get the puppy home for a few days and name him what he tells you to name him. I'm not crazy, i promise. I'm just really tuned into my dogs and their behavior/feelings. I never view that as a bad thing
