Hi i'd prefer the name Levi because Sammie is quite a common name for dogs already. But it's still up to you.

I had a dog named Cricket and a dog named Magnum, they were both very loyal dogs and their names fit them well.

I like the name Sammie or Tyler I would go with one of those, Have you tried calling him that name while looking at him to see which name fits better?

My personal favorite of these two?...Tyler

Yet, you might consider naming him after certain personality traits or his appearance. I once met a dog that was a golden retriever named...Butter.
