When I chose the name for my puppy two years ago, I waited until my puppy gave me her name herself....for days I couldn't get 'that's my Angel' out of my head. And so Angel in a Black Dress was named.

i got my first puppy when i was 8, and im now 10... my mum was driving home one night when she saw something on the road, she stopped and my sister got out and went to see what it was, and it was a little puppy dog lost on the road. My sister brang him home and i layed there with her infront of the fire all night. we asked around to see who's puppy she was, and she actually belonged to a man a few kms away from our farm. The proper owner took him back and the next day the puppy came back, it was so unbelievable because we live like 10km away from the owner on a farm. when the owner came to pick her up she bolted. she was so scared of the owner. this went on for days until finally one day he came down the drive way and i got the puppy and hid under my bed with him and cried, the man must have been abusing him because she (the puppy) was so terribly scared the old owner finally gave up and said i could keep him. i was so happy it was the best day of mylife!! i called her fluffy

Well my 1st Bull terrier was called Heidi, she kind of chose the name herself when we went to see her and her litter mates she was the littlest one and as such was the only one small enough to fit in the space behind the puppy basket next to he radiator pipes were it was toasty warm to the kids it looked as if she was trying to hide from us so on the way home we talked about that fact and the name Heidi came to us from the word Hiding......Heidi :lol:

Oue 2nd Bullies name was more difficult as the family just couldnt agree on a name, I decided to take charge and after some thought I came up with the name Bodie.....named after character in a british TV show called "The Professional's" Bodie was played by Lewis Collins a rather good looking actor in the 70-80's lol.... I had a crush on him when I was a school kid :wink:

We have three cats and three dogs. The cats are Dale, Scar, and Pumba. The dogs are Phoenix, Norman, and Regan.

Dale- We are big Earnhardt fans and we got him right before the actual Dale Earnhardt died. Our cat's full name is Dale Earnhardt the Third.

Scar- We found him as a stray almost starved to death and beat up real bad.

Pumba- We had a kitty named Simba we lost recently and Pumba looks a lot like him. Plus, we wanted to stay with some of the Lion King names.

Phoenix- He already had his name. We adopted him as a senior.

Norman- My daughter is hearing impaired and calls Dora the Explorer Norman and the name kind of stuck for him.

Regan- We adopted her from the shelter and that was her name.

i just have a name for a dog to suggest. Wolfi. why? because my dog, toby, when he bares his teeth, he looks like a wolf. but to make it sound cute, we call him wolfi sometimes! I hope to get a male schnauzer which i will name wolfi! i hope you will consider this name!

i have alot of other names in mind that i am planning to use in the future! Sofi, Sandy, Cookie, Buddy, Sunny, Spotty, and alot of more names! these names go with specific breed or gender (occording to how i like it)
Sofi= female schnauzer
Sandy=female dog with color yellow
Cookie=male-maybe female- shelti or collie
Buddy=male golden retriever
Sunny=male dog with color yellow
Spotty= male spotted dog

Sirius= any male big black dog
