my uncle had a dog call Doof as its Food backwards he thought it was funny i still think he's crazy

and my friends has a dog call Master Bates or Bates for short and i have to say he does hump anyone and anything

One of my friends had a Huge Great Dane that he called kitty

A friend of my had a greyhound named Imperialist Running Dog... "Imp" for short.

Could you imagine going to the dog park and calling your huge Great Dane Kitty.... Image the funny faces you would get.

new a family a few years back and their mutt was names bonehead. not a nickname either. full name. lol

When I was young I had an uncle who named his family pet Diogi (pronounced Dee-O-Gee or D-O-G) but when you say it close together it really does sound like a name...LOL...I still love that name!!! :mrgreen:

I used to work at a pet store and all of the puppies had collars to identify them by breed, birth date, and sex. where the birth date was it said DOB (date of birht)and then the date. One couple bought a dog and thought DOB was his name so they now call him Dobbie.

Tsunami as a dog name is kinda strange.

I was going to call my pet Garibaldi, you know, after the biscuit.

My neighbor has a weiner dog and it's so sweet but its named Killer and my dogs are Mango, Coconut, and Kiwi.

I just heard of a strange one the other day. A rescue worker had a dog show up unexpectedly. They decided to name it for the time of day it arrived. "Lunch". LOL

I had heard of the one "Diogi". Had a friend years ago name their dog that. It was part wolf and really looked like a Diogi.

Quite a few years back, my ex and I got a livestock guarddog puppy who was used to coming to the call of biscuit every morning with his litter mates to get a biscuit. So we just changed it slightly and called him Bicket.

which was making fun of her sisters duck named D-O-G
