Default Registered name for a puppy???

I have a great dane pup that I desperately need to think of a registered name for. She's very smart and elegant, but at the same time very goofy and clumsy. She is the first dane we will be having to breed so I want something pretty and different. Her name is Bailey. Some suggestions have been: Bailey's New Moon Rising, Dawn's First Light, Bailey's Blazing Star, Bailey's Blossoming Buttercup. Any other suggestions would be great!! Something with a legacy or first or nature ring to it would be good! Thanks :] Here are some pics of my baby

What is the breeder's kennel name?

You have plans for her to be your foundation bitch, provided she gets all her clearances... do you have a kennel name?

yes..she will become the foundation bitch ONLY if she is perfectly sound and correct in every way. I don't believe in breeding without those things. The breeder's kennel name was something like Southern Comfort Danes or something like that. Can't think of off the top of my head. I'd have to look. No kennel name for us yet =/ She's still a pup. Any kennel name suggestions would be good as well :]

Well her registered name will need to start with her breeder's kennel name... something like "Southern Comfort's Blazing Star"

As for your kennel name, I have seen people include their last name (SmithGold), combination of their family names (Kelore) or a first pet's name (Ripley's) So your kennel name could be Bailey's Great Danes.

So with that your puppy could be "Southern Comfort Bailey's Last Stand" or something like that

also..I read in another post of yours you show dogs as well. What kind? I used to show australian shepherds and absolutely loved it! I won't get back into the show ring just yet but I hope when I get my male dane I can get back in the groove!

Over the years I have handled Collies, Rotties, Goldens, labradors, bloodhounds, scottish deerhounds, french bulldogs, Mastiffs, Standard and Toy poodles. At the moment I am handling Goldens, Frenchies and Mastiffs. I am happy to show most breeds and specialize in Sporting, herding and working breeds.

You mentioned getting a male... may I suggest another female? Take it from somebody with experience. While I LOVE my boys it is MUCH, MUCH easier to have only bitches. You can then use your choice of stud dogs that will help you reach the goals of your breeding program. Many of the small hobby breeders I know do it this way and unless you have a really good set up having all bitches is much easier!

I have kennels, a dog room, a system of multiple gates, fenced yard w/ attached pen, etc. to keep my dogs and bitches appart when girls go into season and even then I have 3 weeks of 100% stress.

Thanks for the advice :] I'm happy to be in touch with someone who is on the same page with me. I thought about another female and then wondered if it was dumb so you're advice helped! :] Do you think Southern Stars Blaze Bailey's Sky is too long for a name??
