You're all making me laugh, because I can so relate!! Kramer (the K Man, Krame Krame, Mr. PooPooHead...) is 10 now, and I also still praise him when he does his business...I can't help it!

Our puppy came with the name Peaches, which was alright but, the rest of the family didnt particularly like it. We spent 45minutes sitting on the floor playing with her, bouncing name ideas off of each other.

Finally, it came down to Dolly Parton or Ellie Mae (we live out in the country). So then it came down to which she responded to first. Hence, Ellie Mae.

I named all of my wolfkids Native american names.
Keeda Sable means The power of the wolf.

Wahya Noon means wolf. But i also call him mommy's boy.

Tala means stacking wolf. But i also call her little girl.

Tallie also means stacking wolf. She was a resuce. And her name was the same as Tala so i change it to Tallie.

Tom Alo. ALO means spiritual guide. I got tom from the breeder he has cancer and this will be his last little cubs. So i thought it would be nice to name one after him. Plus i call him little man.

Now th little guys

Cheyenne was already named when i got her at 10 weeks old and i just keeped the name.

Raven sidekick. I named him Raven because he is mostly black and Raven means Black. The sidekick came from him always being right beside me.He is also a resuce he will be going to him new home soon in Kentucky.

We found it a bit difficult naming our puppy. We all had different ideas as to what she should be called and since it was my daughter who really got the idea of a new puppy going, we decided to let her have a say and she wanted princess so we all finally agreed on the name 'Maya' which is Arabic meaning princess.

In a couple days I'll be getting my puppy.

I didn't have to even think up a name for him, though I do have some interestingly named pets (cats - Kapok {RIP}, Twiddles, Piggey, Jules Verne and rats - Rosie, Michelle, Guatamala, Zeno, Keef, Rodrigo and dog - Brady).

See, the breeder I'm getting my pup from has a three year old grandson and he started calling my pup Dragonese. He said the puppy (much larger than the rest of his siblings) looked like a Dragonese. He asked his Grammy if the new owner might keep the name and she said she doubted it. Well, who am I to change the name that a three year old gave him? So he's keeping the name!

I do have a feeling he might end up with Puff as a nickname, as in Puff The Magic Dragonese!

Smile My puppy name!

I got my puppy when he was about 3 months old! It took me about a week to decide on a name. I orginally thought of Scabbs - when I got him he had a few circular scabs on the top of his head. I decided against that name because it seemed like I was teasing! I was having a hard time thinking of something that stuck and seemed to fit. I was playing with him on my bedroom floor (keep in mind that he is black with a white chest and a small white tip on his tail) and I looked over to my closet and saw a pair of my favorite sneakers. They are all black with a white tongue of the shoe and a white logo on the back and the name came to mind - Jordan (the brand of the shoe) - I immediately thought it was cute but couldn't picture calling him Jordan. Then I thought of JoJo - and that's what finally stuck :-)

It was a long process but I'm happy with his name now and I couldn't picture calling him anything else!
