My fiance and I recently went to our states local Akita rescue. They told us about two sisters that had been dropped off for a few weeks, and were very attatched and they didn't really want to separate. Their names weren't given by the old family or something or that matter, because we were told they didn't have any. One is a black, white, and silver female that we want to name after something wintery, and the other is dark brown and white, which we want to name after the fall.

For the darker one, we've narrowed it to Noelle, Tinsel, or Holly.
The the brown one, it's Ginger, Autumn, or Pumpkin

These sound like good names for the dogs but the person who would know best regarding Akita's would be Ree. She has owned these for years and has a great deal of experience with them. Also Lange, she has one and has many stories about hers. Good luck.
