Default We need help...Please :)

We are getting a new female English Mastiff puppy within the week and can't find a name. She is fawn with black mask and will be very big! Mother is 185lbs and father is 200lbs. We like the unique and not very popular names! For example...we don't want Maggie, Sadie, Daisy...the same names everybody else has! We like different names so if you could please help us out we would really appreciate it! And if you have the meaning that goes along with the name too that would be wonderful...that's a bunch Have a great day!!!!!!

simply put, it is never advisable to ask others who do not know you or your dog to name your dog. It would be like asking a stranger to name your child.
If you want something unique, wait for awhile and its personality will in all likelihood provide you the answer to your question. Good luck with the new one.

I agree with Yogi - you need to have a name that you choose because it suits your dog - but I still think it's fun to make suggestions.

So how about a name with English connections for your English mastiff:

Lizzie - or Elizabeth in honour of the Queen
London
Surrey
Chiltern
Keswick

Default pup names

I believe all the dear woman asked for
were suggestions and there is nothing wrong in giving her a ton of names to look at when the pup is hers. I have had many a pup and asked beforehand out of excitement and total love . I think she is excited for her new pup to get home .

I always have a list of 20 or so names before I see my dog and 9 times out of 10 I settle for something that wasn't on the list! Having said that, when I got my last dog I chose the name before I even found the breeder but the name suits him perfectly and I would have changed it if it didn't.

My parents on the other hand were going through lists of names for their pup and decided they wanted something with a particular theme then the morning they brought him home they decided to call him Bonzo - right out of the blue and nothing to do with anything else at all!

I was just simply asking for suggestions for a name, never said I was going to use any of them! I would rather be prepared for when we bring the puppy home that she have a name. Thank you to everyone that was kind enough to give me suggestions
