Help me name this pup =)
Hi guys! I am new to this forum...would anyone like to help me name my pup. I am so bad at naming anything so help is welcome =D
He is a black labrador =) And it seems I cannot post pictures yet so I will as soon as I can :P

My parents have a big black lab cross (although there is no black lab in him) and his name is Bonzo. They also considered calling him Aloysisus (Al-o-ish-us) after the teddy bear in the book "Brideshead Revisited"
I love suggesting dog names but no one ever likes my suggestions lol - perhaps they are a little too "off the wall"!
So, where do you live? Are there any favourite landmarks with a name that you could adopt or adapt? Any famous people, past or present, that you could name him after? What about a ridiculous name? My dad nearly called the dog Snowball simply because there wasn't any white on him at all!

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Bonzo is a really cute name!
I live in Ireland...I don't think there is anything I want to name him after...But one thing is I don't really like people names for dogs. But I do like jake, charlie, sam. I just don't think they suit him.
Funny thing about ridiculous names..We just got a cat..He is ALL white and my sister called him rainbow :P

Irish - Liffy? Shannon is too girly.
Dubh (Duff) - black
Lots of Irish place names lend themselves to good dog names, just like Welsh ones do - that's part of the beauty of the Celtic languages LOL!

The shannon goes through the town I live in 
I will have to have a look at Irish names! I seen there a few on here in the Dog Names link. I don't fancy going through 100 + pages today though..

Oh I like!  , those are great names. I was going to suggest Duke, Butch, Niro, Kodi, these were all black labs that were in my family. I love Labs, yours is very cute.

Your lab puppy is really cute!!
I lived next door to a black lab named Chase.( He always was chasing his tail)
But I also like your 2 names Jake or Miller.
