My dog is called Sasha, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was called Meg when we first got her but although I love the name, it just wasn't her, so we changed it (luckerly she was only tiny and we hadn't had her long enough for her to get used to Meg).
Has anyone else ever changed a name when they found it didn't suit???

I have. My dog, a Siberain Husky, was called Killer when I adopted him. I hated his name from the beginning so I changed it to Baron, the name of a hockey team in the town where I grew up. He was almost 6 years old when I changed his name. I let him pick his name too. I tried a bunch and Baron just stuck.
