Sakura {means cherry blossom}
Boys names:

If you would like more just say the word, good luck on your search.

I used to own a pit bull mix. I named her Felony. Pit bulls are great for pets if you treat them with lots of love and care. But also keep in mind they were bred for fighting so there be very careful with them.

Wow! I'm not nearly as creative as some of you guys! LOL I have 2 Pit Bull females - Star & Denali & a Pit Bull/Lab male - Spike.
Look on Hoobly.com They always have a LOT of Pit Bulls on there & you can find ones that are in your area so you don't have to get them shipped.

I read in a paperback once, this guy shouts at his dog coz he's always barking. Everytime the dog barks, this guy says Dammit! and the dog would stop.

There are thousands of Pit bulls in rescues.
Where do you live, there could be one close by.

A rescue is a really good suggestion.
What about another one-syllable name (like Butch and Jake)? I'm thinking something like "Sarge"

Breed rescue organizations? Especially if you have very little kids (babies and toddlers) an adult dog might be easier to integrate into your family. Puppies and little kids can be a difficult mix sometimes. A lot of times the rescues will have an adult dog, already trained and housebroken and used to kids, who had to be given up by its family because they were moving or someone got sick or allergic or no one had time for it anymore.
Not all backyard breeders are bad, per se. We got our Siberian Husky from a woman who had only one female dog, would only breed every two years, and raised the puppies in a house, with her family. I think we got a more well- rounded, socialized dog out of the deal then going for a breeder with impressive pedigrees and kennels and show ribbons. If you aren't planning on breeding and showing a puppy from healthy, registered parents from someone who breeds responsibly who has been raised to be a family dog I would take another look at the backyard breeders, maybe visit a few to get a feel for them and their animals, and go from there.
oh, and some name ideas: durango, goober, frenzy, rascal, kirby, marleybone, skeezix, topsider, wheedle
. . . hope this helps

Now how about that? My brother usually says, "All right, cut it out," when he wants to stop his dog from barking uncontrollably. I would suggest that he thinks of a shorter, stronger statement!
