My lot are all Siberians too.

Inga the oldest got her name from a tomb in Orkney. There was Viking writing on the tomb which when translated said "Ingaborg the fairest maiden of them all" we picked up Inga when we came home from a holiday on Orkney and thought the name suited her. Inga is silver bi-eyed.

Imber is Russian for ginger and she's a lovely deep red colour. We coulsn't get Imber as a registered name so as My husband is a keen bird watcher so I registered her as Lasinski's Kookooska, Kookooshka is Russian for Cuckoo and she really lives up to her name. Imber is dark red and blue eyed.

yoola is Russian for wood lark. Yoola is pale red and amber eyed

Beanie came to me as an adult so I didn't choose his name. Beanie is Red and brown eyed.

Koolik is Russian for Snipe. Koolik is pale red and amber eyed.

Loona is Russian for Moon but she is now nick named loona-tic. Loona is Silver and Bi-eyed.

Normally when I'm naming a puppy or choosing KC registered names for a litter I spend hours going through a Russian dictionary.

Default my baby's name is Shana....

I'm a firstime siberian husky owner and believe me when the book said patience it means patience.... for I've had to look at her and just keep saying to myself "she does'nt know any better you've got to teach her better" because truly a siberian is not for everyone.... I looked up her name online and in swahilli her name means"beautiful flower" she's a bi-eyed husky and black and white coat... I tried to chose a name based on her character but, got the name SHANA instead if you'd like to see her go to :http://www.dogster.com/?331343

Siberian huskys are some of my favorite dogs. I just wish I had one. I'm only 14 and my parents wanted a dog that doesn't shed. So I have a Shih Tzu named Wiley .
