When I got my first Chihuahua, a purebred we were free to choose his (first)name, but it had to start with the letter B.
We named him Benjamin.

The Chihuahua we have now, got a name starting with the letter C for the registration paper, his name is Chicco.

But we give him many other funny names when we cuddle him

Hey I havent seen a Chihuahua ! Is it very common outside asia. I see a lot of posts based on this breed.
Benjamin looks like a very odd name for a dog; but Chicco is good.
And even my dog is named Chikoo. Its a brown fruit in India. And her colour is also similar with white patches.

This is our Chihuahua Chicco, he is 8 yrs old.
Benjamin [ means the smallest] does not live anymore, he died 1 month before he would be 17. We got Chicco after Benjamin died. Benjamin was a very brave little doggy, all the bigger dogs in the neighbourhood were a bit afraid of him Chicco is the opposite, he has a very soft character and loves to be the baby in the family.
