Female dog name
I currently have a male dog and am going to get him a "wife" here shortly. His name is Keetah and we want our females name to sound good with his any suggestions? Oh for those of you who don't know what breed of dog I am getting she'll be a seppala siberian sleddog.

Naming your dog is probably the hardest thing. I spent a month thinking of a good name for my dog. I have some suggestion for your female dog's name that goes with Keetah. How about Cheetah? I think that sounds cute.

Wow Seppala, Keetah is absolutely GORGEOUS!!! When will you be getting the female? I'm so Jealous, everyone is getting new sibe puppies, I want another one. I think next time I will be getting one that looks like my Olympia did. The breeder I go to had a puppy a month ago that looked like her, but she was spoken for. Oh well, I can definately wait on it, and I think Keetah & Kiona go great together. If you need more names let me know.

Not one hundred percent sure when I'll be actually getting my female. As of right now we're in the process of looking. I would really love a solid white or white and silver female with the blue eye's.

You said you are getting a Seppala sibe, it's funny you mentioned the white female, we were offered a white, blue eyed female, 2 yrs old, on fourth of july weekend {we were at a siberian husky club picnic} she had just had a litter of pups, and they said we could also have one of the pups for free. The daughter who owned the female, is leaving for college, so she has to find homes for her sled team. At the time the pups were not ready to go, as they were only 6 weeks. We said no, to the dog, and the puppy. We have a breeder in NH that we go to. How about you, do you have it narrowed down yet? Good luck with the search, it is hard to find just the right one, in my opinion.

Well thats unfair i wish someone would just offer to give me a sibe!! LOL But no I haven't entirely narrowed it down but sadly I think I want to the same breeder/ kennel we got Keetah from; she is a terrible kennel owner but she has some of the best seppalas, siberians, and malamutes I have ever seen. Its an enitre state away but I think it is worth it for a good dog.

What a pretty dog we would love to have a outside dog like this one but the man who lives across the street would kill it if we got one and didn't keep it in the house.

Keetah, that sounds familiar. :P i guess any none-American name will fit the wife or female dog (no offense meant to dear Uncle Sam ). How about "Maganda" or "Mayumi," which means 'pretty' or 'beautiful' in Tagalog. or "Bighani" (allure) or "Dakila" (Great/Noble) or "Pag-asa," (Hope) don't they sound cool?

(sorry, I got interrupted and it cut my reply off). So. You want a dif. sound so you can call both dogs, or one rather than the other. But femmanine, yes? How about "Sasha" (hard "S"), or "Tashah (hard "A") The latter works really well with "Keetah" I think. "Keetah and Tashah." Good luck. Our Siberian we used to breed was named "Thor."
