Kills adult fleas and ticks with botanically-derived pyrethrin insecticide. Helps keep most pets smelling fresh and clean for weeks. Conditions and adds luster to coats. Will not kill flea eggs, but will weaken the fleas once the eggs hatch (flea eggs take from 3-4 weeks to hatch). To use, wet your pet's with warm water. Apply the shampoo along the back of your pet and work the shampoo well into the coat. Do not get lather into the eyes. If it does accidentally get into your pet's eyes, quickly wash them out with clean water to prevent irritation. Allow lather to remain on the pet for 5 minutes to permit insecticide to take full effect. Rinse thoroughly. Active ingredients: Piperonyl butoxide 0.50%, pyrethrins 0.05%. Other ingredients: 45%. Safe for use on dogs and cats over 12 weeks old. Shampoo not recommended for use on Persian cats.
