Oh, my doggie loves this munchy treat! It smells good and for sure tastes good. I've been feeding him with Dingo for quite some time now.

Default Some chews that have not been recalled and don't break up.

I have found Harvest Chewz to be best. They do not break up into little pieces. My dog always chokes on little bits if rawhide. He is a 85 lb golden and a strong chewer, so it is hard to keep up with him when he goes to town on a chew.

Default Dingo Brand Rawhide treat killed my dog

I had a little 11 pound terrier. He choked to death in my arms while I tried to remove a piece of rawhide from this brand from his throat. It is all over the web that this stuff poses a substantial threat of choking. If you love your dog, stay away from these.

ANY rawhide can be dangerous. My dogs LOVE Dingo bones... they only get them on holidays since they are SO expensive. Like any treat you must CLOSELY SUPERVISE chewing and take away any small bits that break off. I have been giving them for the past few years and have never had any problems.

Rawhide treats are just plain dangerous. There has been so much information about the choking risk involved with giving a dog rawhide...I just don't understand why anybody would take the risk, knowing how severe the consequences could be. There are way better chewies out there...

Smile Dangerous Pet Foods

Do we really know what is in some of the products we feed our beloved pets i would say the majority of people just buy it off the shelf and give to there pets without even knowing or reading the fine print i know for a fact that i myself at times have fed my best mate sophie scraps off the dinner table not knowing it could be harmful to her shes a harlequin great dane and not even thinking for a minute that it might cause her harm or even worse .
I really think we as a society should take a lot more care when it comes to our beloved companions , i know for a fact if i go out for dinner to a restaurant with my wife and it looks bad smells bad and even tastes bad ill send it back to the kitchen ;so why should our pets be any different .
i recently came across a great product that was so much help to me as a pet owner do yourself a favour and check it out it could save you a lot of money in the long run ,there is some very helpful information there
cheers bj

Thumbs down

I would be carful feeding ur dogs rawhide.. its hard for ur dog to digest and can break off and choke ur dog. There are so many other great treats out there. Its just my opinion but my dog has never had rawhide and i wont ever give it to her.

Agreed. Stick with raw meaty bones. They are natural for your dog and its digestive system, rawhides are not.

I also have to say I am against rawhides. My Corky use to get them in a soft 'rolled out' big chunk and then would procede to try to swallow them whole! Besides the way most of them are processed is not healthy for the dog to even be having in their mouth! Hey--Make some liver treats instead!

reading the title, I thought, "oh no - I just bought those"

Literally - I just got home from the market a half hour ago with a bag of these to try out.

Default Dingos - Produced in China

Are these products really really safe for my dogs? I heard that these are produced out of Asia and imported to the US?

Anyone know if this is true?
