Charming and bittersweet, this modern-day romantic comedy starring Uma Thurman, Janeane Garofalo and Ben Chaplin, explores the beguiling perils of mistaken identity.
Abby (Garofalo), a savvy, witty veterinarian who hosts her own radio talk show, is anything but confident when it comes to love. A petite brunette, she describes herself as tall and blonde when Brian (Chaplin), a caller who is smitten with her radio persona, asks her on a date. She then talks her tall, blonde neighbor Noelle (Thurman) into assuming her identity, setting off an escalating series of hilarious and romantic crises.
Customer Review: The Truth is: Be Yourself!!!!
A chick flick with a sensitive wise message... be the real you from the get go. No one can be you except you. Uma Thurman helps neighbor Garofolo woo a listener only to create a love triangle in the midst. Does it really have to be a choice between beauty and brains? And isn't beauty in the eye of the beholder. That said, if you feel you need to be someone you are not to win over another ... they aren't worth it 100%! Besides ... with all the breeds of cats and dogs out there ... there is an owner for every pedigree ... not all canines have to be poodles to be loved .... not all felines have to be persians either. A cool LA romantic comedy of the lengths we should never go to capture someone's heart.
Customer Review: Fantastic Video on Cat and Dog Health
Truth about Cats and Dogs has been fantastic, but also taught me alot about storms in adrenal glands of cats and other glands that animals have in their animal bodies that get infected and stuff. Did you know the typical cat eats 4 pounds of rats each day in New York? And that dogs can sweat from their teeth and toe nails? My cat, Budipholus, has this annoying habit of eating the waste that comes out of my dog, and I am not talking about parakeets here, Matey. Rather pigeons and parrots are what sit on the shoulders of Pirates, and the recommendation to rub sand and gravel into Buidpholus's eyes when he is bad turned out to be a good idea, except he keeps running into things now. Overall this is a great video and it should be looked at by everyone with dogs that provide food for cats and other animals with glands that become inflammed. Order two!
