Default Peticure????

Anyone seen this thing? Anyone tried it?

does it actually work?

I HATE using the clippers and I am not comfortable with trying to use a dremel.

I have a Peticure and I like it! So do the furkids! Much easier than trying to clip their nails.

So far it hasn't fallen apart on me.

BTW, I ordered mine online.

My friend is a professional groomer, and she uses a similar device for doing nails. It is much easier and stress free than clipping. You could probably find something cheaper than Peticure, though.

it's CRAP! The biggest waste of money, does not work, takes FOREVER to do the nails and the vibration and noise is terrifying to most dogs. It is an ok tool if you have a dog who can sit for 20+ minutes to get it's nails done. WASTE OF MONEY! If you want to do your dogs nails quickly go with safety clippers or the dremel MiniMite.

Default Nail Grinder

I have had great luck with the Oster Nail Grinder. No matter how careful I was with the other type clippers i would always nick trixie.

I have one it works great, and the dog loves it. Much easier than anything else I have used.

Yeah. It takes forever to do my goldens nails, and she's a little hyper so it dont work very well for her. But it works great on the chihuahua.

The smaller the dogs you have pretty much the easier it is going to be, like everyone said.

A bigger dog the manual clippers are going to work best and fastest.

Thumbs down Didn't work for me

It didn't work for my dog. 2 yr old Beagle/Chihuahua mix. It took him almost 2 weeks just to get use to the sound.

I definitely agree that is is not very effective on the nails of larger breeds. I tried it on our Rhodesian Ridgeback and it was like trying to mow an acre of grass with a weedeater. Attila started getting restless. We got half of one nail done and it took for-ever. I ended up finishing the job with clippers....,<sigh>

I have one and my dogs hate it. It vibrates and is noisy, waste of money.
