Extra-long for a good reach across even the largest grill, the tools range in length from 17-1/2 inches (tongs) to 21 inches (spatula and knife). Most versatile is the 3-in-1 spatula, which not only lifts and drains meats, but also cuts with a sharp serrated edge on one side, and tenderizes with prongs on the other. The toothed tongs taper to a point that grabs even the smallest piece of food. However, it takes a strong grip to hold these heavy-duty tongs together. Sharp four-inch tines on the fork spear everything from a whole chicken to thin hot dogs. The seven-inch-bladed knife slices through thick steaks with ease.
