The Sierra Designs Big Dog 20 Degree Short is an ideal three-season sleeping bag for kids up to 5' 0" tall. With its synthetic fill, the Big Dog is warm and comfortable, and, at only 2 lb., 8 oz. and an integrated mesh stuff sack, it's easy to transport, carry and store. The Big Dog is insulated with Polarguard HV. Unlike down fill, the machine washable and fast-drying Polarguard HV insulation is water-resistant and provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet climates. Full of features, the Big Dog has a built-in pillow pocket inside the hood of the sleeping bag, a zippered valuables pocket stitched into the front of the bag and integrated pad locks to keep you from rolling off of your sleeping pad while you sleep. A comfortable and lightweight Sleep E-Z Pillow comes included. Sierra Designs' innovative snag-free zipper tracks protect the liner by creating a barrier which prevents stuck zippers. The inside of the Big Dog has a fun and fashionable typographical map-pattern lining. An ergonomic hood with a drawstring cinch and ergonomically-shaped foot box add to the Big Dog's compact silhouette and aid in insulation. The foot box of the Big Dog is lined with Tricot. This fleece lining adds warmth and helps to prevent cold feet. A fully-insulated draft tube sewn behind the zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag.
