Bella why won't you behave? Give up those kitties that you crave. I think it's time you kicked the habit of chasing cats and try a rabbit.
Customer Review: My dog didn't tear it to shreds.
We adopted an older dog with worn down and missing teeth last year and have had trouble finding toys that she can play with. The rubber ones are too hard for her mouth and the soft ones get ripped up easily by her remaining teeth (she has 2 and a half canines -- still capable of ripping things up). We've gotten toys that have literally lasted less than 2 minutes. Granted, she's a 70 lb terrier mix, so we knew this would be a problem when we adopted her. She just loves to play with toys and isn't big on tennis balls (which are not as hard as the Kong toys). For whatever reason, this toy lasted months. She played with it every day. In fact, the noisemaker never stopped squeaking. Usually she punctures the noisemaker after a few days. The toy is soft material and has resilient stuffing. She loved it so much! In fact, there was a tear in the outer cloth for about 3 months that she never exploited (usually, when she senses a tear she starts in for the stuffing). Underneath the outer layer is a second layer of stronger cloth that didn't rip until about a month ago. There was nothing about this toy that suggested it would last as long as it did. In fact, my fiancee bought it on a clearance rack at a pet store -- now we can't find it anywhere except on the wonderful pages of Amazon.com. I'm not convinced a new one will last as long -- so don't expect a miracle. But if you want a soft toy that will squeak for more than a day, take a shot.
