Question Unanswered: Moving to Montreal from abroad with German Shepherd-Pet friendly apartments/houses

Dear All,
My family and I will be moving to Montreal next year. Our beloved dog, Pixie, will be flying with us. My only concern is how difficult is it to find apartments/houses accepting dogs! I am getting really panicky and upset, as the more read about accommodation in Montreal, the more I think it's going to be a problem! Please suggestions and tips! We are very well behaved owners and well groomed too!
Thank you for your help!

I would assume you're looking to rent a house or appartment correct? If so, all you can do is read the descriptions/contact the landloard and ask if they allow pets and if so if there are any other rules regarding the ownership of pets. It will vary from place to place so all you can do is ask.

Good luck during the move!

Also, if you're interested in any info on dogs traveling with you via plane here's a link to a thread we discussed about a month ago;

Tried to post this a week ago and, somehow it never showed up so, I'll try again.

Montreal itself is really "pissy" where dogs are concerned. If I were you, I'd be looking in the suburbs. You will be more likely to find dog friendly places to rent and off leash areas to enjoy with your dog. Welcome to Canada (in advance).

BTW, I don't know if you drive but, Montreal transit is pretty good!!!
