Default Unanswered: camping sites that let dogs run free

we go to the same camp site every year in dorset simply because you do not have to keep well behaved dogs on the lead. my 2 love it and come home after 2 weeks having had a magical time. we humans , however, wouldnt mind going somewhere different but will not compromise on their enjoyment. does anyone know of any sites that allow dogs off the leash around the tent that they would happily recommend?

I'm in Pembrokeshire (West Wales) A couple of years ago a group of us, all with Jack Russells, stayed at a local camp site where they were quite happy for us to let the dogs off lead. We did need to keep a tight rein on the dogs though as there were horses in the adjoining field and the fence was more of a boundary than a barrier.

I think I have the name and phone number of the site owner and could find the details if you wanted to travel this far South/West.

When my husband and used to travel with our caravan and our dogs we usually went out of season so we would often have a field almost to ourselves anyway. I remember a wonderful holiday in Cornwall with our two Jack Russells. We sat by the window with our books through the dog balls out through the window and waiting for them to bring them back. Passed a very pleasant wet afternoon that way LOL!
