Default Still Looking to be trained as a Dog Groomer
There are only 4 Pet Grooming Schools within an hours drive from where I live. One is an hour away and cost $7,000 and would take 8 months to complete, the second school is currently up or sale and I feel reluctant to pay $5,700 and then find out that they closed or the new owner isn't as skilled to teach as the former owner was, the third school when I went to visit only had one dog to groom and 12 empty dog pens with stuffed dogs inside and not to much equipment, and the fourth school looked the same as the third school.

I have stopped into about 6 groomer businesses and offered my free labor in return to being trained by them, I am willing to start from the bottom up. Still no positive results. I have also search online and am not sure about online training, without having the real dogs to practice on.

I won't give up but it is becoming a real challenge in Palm Beach County Florida.

I really do appreciate any additional ides or suggestions.
