Unhappy Unanswered: My Bloodhound puppy has a large hard lump on his skull! Help!

About 1-2 weeks ago I noticed my baby Bloodhound had a very large & hard lump on his skull that I had never noticed before, leading me to believe it was brand new. And now today I just noticed another knot on the side of it, a little smaller but it felt the same. They don't bother him when I press on them or touch them either. He is about 15-16 weeks old right now, I believe.
This past week I've been letting him stay in the backyard with my Mom and Dad's 5 year-old Golder Retriever while I'm at classes and work, they play together so I'm PRAYING maybe he hit his head playing, and this isn't anything serious.
Can anyone help me with what it might be or any steps I should take? I'm very new puppy mom, Cotton (my bloodhound) is my very first.

attached are some photo's.
The first 4 are from today, May 16th
and the last is from the day we got him at 11 weeks old, April 11th

The very first step you should take is to make a vets appt. He needs to have it checked out. It could be anything. But since we are not vets, we can"t/shouldn't diagnose.

He is a cutie.

I have 4 GSDS and they play. And not once has a bump ever happened like your pups.

Please make an appt.

I agree. You should def. take the dog to the vet to be sure. better safe than sorry. I'm assuming it's not something like a tumor being that it has seemed to come on all of a sudden. It hasn't been gradually been growing over time has it? I'm getting the impression that you had come home one day and it was there. Am I correct? Either way, it needs checked out by the vet for obvious reasons. Does the lump move around at all? Some dogs naturally have such bumps on their heads as protections such as some retrieving and hunting dogs. I have come across a few other dogs like this. Again, no matter what it could or could not be this situation should be taken up with your vet to make sure everything is alright. best of luck.
