I agree 100%! Sound like an awful vet not willing to work with you and your dog. The lump needs to be examined by someone who really cares and it needs to be examined or a biopsy needs to be done on it if it's a tumor to decide if it's a tumor after all and if it's malignant or benign. An official diagnosis is the first step here.
Could be Hemangiosarcoma which is a cancer. This obviously causes cancerous and tumors and can also cause weakness and this type of bledding which is a result of anemia.
