Default Unanswered: Any guess as to my what my dog is?

So i posted pics of my pup when she was about 4 months old and asked what people thought about her breed and mainly people said i needed to wait til she was a year. So she she will be a year next month and she is currently 23lbs. I tried to get her whole body in some of the pics bc she is def. unique with her markings.

Let me know if u need to know anything else about her! Thanks so much!

She's really beautiful. My guess would be Australian Cattle Dog/Kelpie.

OT - btw I love the rug on your floor - so pretty.

I agree with the Australian Cattle Dog, but would throw Australian Shepherd in there, too. Look at the ears.

She's really pretty, what ever her mix is!!

She is a very unique looking dog--love it! I just looked up about the catahoula. Coloring and uniqueness is there also. I think the catahoula is prob. a bigger dog but ??--could be some of that in your dog.
Here is a link to the catahoula if anyone wants to check it out:
[Bhttp://www.dogbreedinfo.com/catahoula.htm][/B]
There are 2 pages--Be sure to scroll all the way down--darn ads get in the middle and is misleading--making you think you have seen all the pics.

Thanks! I agree my Ella isnt big enough but its the only dog i found that has her markings. Her ears arent like catahoula's either... i just get people say so many different things for her so i was curious. My sister in law actually has a pup from the same litter and she looks kind of like a border collie, but i know they could have different dads.. its just so funny how different they can turn out. Ill post some pics of her sister... remember there from the same litter! Personality wise there completely different too... My ella is so timid, molly is fearless. Molly loves water, ella hates water. Mollys a huge eater, ella could care less about food....

I see what you mean! Definitely must be more than 1 father here, lol could be 3 different fathers even! Looks like both Ella and Molly have blue eyes--the same?---must be from the mother!

Ella has blue eyes and molly actually has one blue eye and one brown eye. People always ask us if our dogs our blind or deaf bc they have blue eye(s)... Does a dog having blue eyes have an increased chance for deafness or blindness? or is that more of a myth. I always thought it was the combination of white on there face and blue eyes.. maybe im wrong. What do u guys think?

As one who bred and raised purebred Aussies, their ears do not stand. The coat markings and coloring do show dark blue merle which is common in the Aussie. But also can be found in the ACD and Heeler. There is obviously some herding breed mix.

I just read that the dogs that have 1 blue and 1 brown eye are usually found in these breeds: Australian Shepherd, Catahoulas, Border Collie, and Siberian Huskies. Lol, at 1st I thought it was your dog that had this and was going to say, "hey!--Is this a clue to your dog's 'make-up!" Here is a link about this subject you might find interesting:
