I know nothing about that product. I had given you a couple links in your other post about Mia's foot problem. I just clicked on one of them and read all the info there. I would try the vinegar 1st and there are a lot of other things mentioned. If you haven't read it, I wish you would. I surely would stay away from prednisone if I could---Bad stuff. The link again is: Relieving a Dog's Itchy Feet Be sure to scroll all the way to bottom--Darn ads get in the middle and you might not think there was more (much more)to read!
And if you want to know about the many bad side effects of prednisone---Just put: dogs/prednisone/side effects--in your browser.

I think it's great that you're looking at natural alternatives to treat your dog's itches instead of immediately reaching for the medicine cabinet. However, it's not fair to blanket ban prednisolone. I have seen some dogs who are so miserable with allergies, the owners have tried everything including expensive allergy tests, and nothing helps.
For these dogs, prednisolone is the difference between living a life of constant pain and misery, or being comfortable. Sure, there is the risk of side effects, but when your dog is suffering so much and nothing helps, sometimes it's worth taking the risk.
I know of lots of dogs who are treated with prednisolone and they don't always develop side effects.
Does Mia have any ear problems, or any other symptoms such as runny eyes, sneezing or itchy face? Before you go to the vet, do a food trial to rule out food allergy. Let me know if you're not sure how to do this.

It first needs to be noted that comparing the side effects of any steroid to humans with dogs is simply incorrect. Humans have a low tolerance for long term usage where dogs have a higher tolerance much higher. Yes in some cases side effects can happen in dogs though these are very rare. The use of prednisone in dogs has proven to greatly help far more often than hinder. I have had cats that are allergic to fleas to the point of digging and chewing themselves to pieces. One cortisone injection and the problem is solved. I use prednisone regularly and to date outside of an increase in water which means more urinating, this is the only side effect I have ever seen in my dogs over the years. I had one that came to me with severe arthritis, he took a daily prednisone for the last 6 years of his life passing on at nearly 17 years of age.
My vet treated a purebred GSD that came down with severe hip dysplasia when it was 10. The dog could not control his hind legs. One shot of cortisone followed by daily dosage of prednisone daily for 10 days and within 48 hours the dog was running in the yard. Within one day of no longer receiving the dosage, it could no longer control its hind legs. The dog was put back on the daily dosage and lived to be 16 with a healthy energetic life.
Everything we eat or use in the way of meds has one side effect or another. If we were to listen to every single website out there proclaiming all that is bad, we would starve or all die.
