My 10 Week old Yorkie got his kennel cough vaccine yesterday and the distemper. Today he started coughing or something as if he was choking on something. What might it be?

It's possible that your yorkie could have gotten a bad reaction to the vaccination or even gotten kennel cough from it. It's a slim chance but it is possible. I'd suggest calling your vet right away to get a professional opinion and if they would like to see your pup. Better safe than sorry!

I agree. I would bet that it's a reaction from the vaccination. One of my dogs showed symptoms of kennel cough for a couple days after his shots one year. Just as it is described in what I've read, his cough sounded much like a goose! Sounded awful and lasted two or three days, then disappeared.
