Exclamation Answered: All of a sudden dog peeing in house daily

HELP!!!

Im at a loss - we moved to a new house about 4 months ago - kept Vinnie kenneled up until about 1 month ago - he's been doing GREAT - except the last week now - he's started peeing in the house daily. he was pooping too but that seems to have stopped but he is peeing.

He is almost 2 years old and should be able to hold it - for over 1 month he was GREAT with NO issues and all of a sudden. Nothing new has entered our house and our routine hasn't changed. I walk him in the morning before I leave for work and then my husband leaves him out for about 15 minutes before he goes to work - Vinnie is normally home from about 7-8 hours during the days we work. (normally is monday thru friday).

ANY and ALL advice would help. Right now Im in tears because I feel so helpless!!!!!! I just don't understand why he is doing this - I haven't noticed any crystals in his pee (that would be a sign of a UTI) so I don't think that is it!!!! Im praising him when he goes potty outside. (as silly as I feel)

Anyone know how to get him "Back on tracK"??????????????

Perhaps it's something to do with the new house. Maybe he is marking his territory or just all together thrown off by the new house. I would just stick to what you are doing, and maybe even to back to the basics of potty training in order to kick this bad habit. You know, taking him out after eveyr meal, nap, play time, just a lot in general.. and hopefully he will get the routine. Make sure to take him out the same door and stay consistent so he'll catch the hang of the new house. Good luck!

I took the stool sample to the vet yesterday - they confirmed it was a UTI!!! So, meds are under way and we should be back to normal soon!!!! Im sure my Vinnie will be a much happier doggie then!

Oh good! (that you figured it out, not that Vinnie has a UTI!) Hopefully he'll be back to himself in no time and feeling better.
