Hello all!!

We have a 6 year old mutt that we are positive is at least 3 different breeds. But we are very curious as to what she REALLY is.....Has anyone used a specific DOG DNA test and if so which one do you recommend....We want to make sure it tests for as many breeds possible. I just dont' know which one to choose! Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!!!

hi.. i have looked in to dog dna testing a few months ago and from what i got back off of people was that there is no specific dog dna test that will tell you the exact breed they come back with the last five generations of your dog. i have come across dna testing sites on the internet but i have been advised not to bother. hope this helps.

Just took a look at your album.---Can't answer your question about the DNA tests--but wanted to remark on your dog. I myself have a hard time seeing any Bernese Mountain Dog. That face is kind of unique looking--a puzzle--must have at least 2 dif. breeds mixed in it! One little bit may be the Saint Bernard. This may sound way off but I am wondering if there is some Golden Retriever there--the coat especially. I had (Just had to put down 3 months ago) a Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel and I am not sure why, but, your dog makes me think a little of his look.
