Please help...our yorkie Cody has recently healed from a surgery to save his life that required a section of his intestine be removed that proved to be a benign tumor. Now he is on medication that keeps swelling of the intestine down. He is 6 years old and has recovered from the surgery nicely, however we cannot get him on a regular bathroom schedule. We put food out during the day and collect it in the early evening...to prevent late night snacking. Yet, like clock work, Cody is up at 3 and 5 every morning to go outside and handle his business. He doesn't like to eat or go during the day time. Any suggestions?
