Default Unanswered: Help With Irish terrier mix

I Have a Irish Terrier mix (i Think) and i would like to know if it is purebred or is a mix of things (i think it would only be a mix of two if it was a mix breed)
i found here, and i do not know what here parents were. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

He is soooo handsome. If you look at the breed standard you will see is far removed from that - the colour is wrong and his coat looks softer than it would be for an Irish Terrier. He looks to me like a Welsh terrier. Have you looked into that breed at all?

Smile Welcome to the forum!

He reminds me of a terrier type but I was also thinking that he looks like too soft a coat for most terriers, including the Irish Terrier. Is his coat not soft? Here is a link to a very good place to see pics of all kinds of breeds: All Purebred & Hybrid Dogs in ABC Order

And if you want to see what the Welsh Terrier looks like (although the description given along with the pics--say it has a wirey coat. This is from the same site as I mentioned above but on the page for the Welsh Terrier.-->Welsh Terrier Information and Pictures, Welsh Terrier Pictures and Photos
