Unanswered: What kind of dog do I have?
We adopted Bear from a shelter who said he was a australian shepherd mix? He is 11 months old and about 70lbs. He has retrieved since he was 8 weeks, he has webbed feet and loves to swim, and he is a big lover. No spots on tongue. Any ideas on what breed(s) he may be?

I would guess he is some sort of shepherd, perhaps retriever cross? I'm useless at this sort of thing LOL! He is certainly very handsome. Retrieving is just something some dogs love to do. My dog has been retrieving since he was 8 weeks too - and he is a Jack Russell LOL!

Based on head and weight since there is not profile and height to work with, GSD and Collie. Australian Shepherds ears do not stand, nor do Labs.

I would agree with the GSD mix. He is very pretty what ever he is. LOL
