Default Unanswered: small for her breed!

My dog lola is a belgian malinois, and she is 7 months old. A real belgian malinois at this age is alot bigger then her! Their a large breed dog, but my lola is a kinda small medium dog! Why is that?

I have a friend who does bitework training. the trainer uses malinois. They are actually NOT that big of a dog, his bitch (who is an amazing working dog!) is not very big, but holy crap! does she have muscles! How much does your dog weigh? how tall is she? Compare that to the breed standard for bitches, she still has some growing to do, and she'll bulk up.

Yeah she doesn't look too small for her breed and age. I would guess she just happens to be on the smaller side, as every dog can be different! I agree that she will most likely bulk up as she keeps growing! She's such a cutie though!
