this is molly. we got her about a month ago from a friend who couldn't keep her. she doesn't know what breed she is. she said the mom was small and furry but that was the only description we got. she also said molly was born dec. 09 2010 so she is about 2 months. i'm very curious to know what she is and how big she will get. thanks.

Oh my, she is beautiful. As for what she might become - it's far too soon to tell. Imagine looking at a photo of a newborn baby and trying to guess what he or she would look like as an adult. It really is impossible. You need to wait until she is 9 months to a year before anyone can make any sort of guess.

She reminds me of my dog at that age but people made all sorts of guesses about his breed (I knew exactly what he was - I bought him from the home where he was born and I met his mother, his aunt and two litters of pups). The vet insisted he was a collie, other people thought he might be a spaniel or a shi tzu but he is a Jack Russell.

I hope you'll hang around and post lots of pics of her. I really want to see what she grows up to be!

A little young to tell, but at this stage, I might suspect she has some Shih Tsu (buggy eyes) some JRT (forward ear set, colouring) but it's really tough to tell, at this stage. Post another pic in a couple of months, we may be able to guess a little better... also, a broadside shot is better for seing conformation.

She is absolutely adorable! I can see some shih tzu in there possibly and JRT as well. Congrats on the new puppy. She looks like a lot of fun!

She's so pretty! My first thought was shih tzu/beagle but she'll probably look quite a bit different as she grows up.
