My parents adopted this cute little puppy from my sister. My dad and I believe it to be a Jack Russel (Buttercup is her name)of some sort. They(my parents) have a neighbor that also believes so, however I have a friend that thinks there may be part chihuahua in her. I have included several pictures of her below. Any help in resolving this question would be greatly appreciated.

I would say she is definitely part Jack Russell - she has beautiful markings. But I think your neighbour is right - there is definitely something else in the mix. The photos seem to suggest that her muzzle is on the short side and the ears are definitely not JR. It would be helpful to see I reckon that there is something else in there but I don't know chihuahuas well enough to say that that is what it is.

If I were guessing I would definitely say Jack Russell/Chihuahua cross. The face looks very Chi esque in some of the shots.
