Default Unanswered: Need help in identifying what Petey is

I was told by the foster and a vet that there is some Boston Terrier in him. But just do not see it. I see alot of Pit and Stafford Bull Terrier in him.

I would like to know cause I am not all that interested in a Pit/Stafford Bull.

Can you please help.

Smile Welcome to the forum!

That address you gave does not work for me. Can you just post a pic(s) in a post?

All I know of Pits is what I've read online as they are banned here in the UK but having said that he does look as though he has bull terrier in him - I couldn't tell if it was Staffie or Pit. If it is important to you not to have those breeds in your dog then you would be best to get a young adult or to get a pup from somewhere where you can see the litter with the dam. I know Pits and Staffies can make great pets but we all have our favourite breeds and those we are not so keen on.

i have to say that he /she looks to have a lot of staffy in him /her and very little if any pitbull (which are lovely dogs saddly banned here in the uk)

i have a staffy crossed american bulldog and your dog has a very similar look to what mine did at that age but as most people on here will tellu its to early to say

i will say tho the fact that you are considering getting rid of it because of its perticular breed makes me think you care more about ahstetics might be wrong i often am its worth noting that if u live in the uk its still possible to own a pitbull if thats what u find out it is u have to agree to keep it leashed and muzzled and i think there might be some kind of licence dont hold me to that i may be way off the mark

If you read the original post you will see that the OP had not made a decision to take the dog. Rightly or wrongly although the breed is not banned in the States as it is here there is a lot of prejudice against the breed in many areas and it can be difficult to find a rental home that will allow a pit bull pet. It is not a question of aesthetics, it is a question of practicalities.
