Unanswered: What kind of dog do I have?
First off, I am new to this forum, so hello to everyone in here. I am hoping to get some help, I would like to know what kind of dog I have. I got him a few months ago from an SPCA shelter near my house. He is 2 years old and his name is Shadow. He is very loyal, freindly, protective and I just love him so much. The only thing he grubs food from me, but what dog doesnt? I have attached some pictures, sorry for the poor quality. HE has black hair with a curly/bushy tail. The ends of his legs are white, he has white on his chest and belly. THe shelter says he is collie/husky mix. I think he also has shepard in him. He has floppy ears and soft fur. Any questions I would be glad to answer.
Here is another pic..

Sorry - the photos are far too small/dark to see anything really. Can you get some bigger pics of him?

Welcome to the forum!
Agree with Cigwylt--pics. too small to really guess very well but looks mostly Border Collie but maybe some Australian Shepherd mixed in--Hard to tell! It doesn't look like any Husky to me either.

I will most certainly get some better pics tonight. I am very curious as to what everyone thinks he is. I would say collie for sure, at first I said husky also, but now I think some shepard. Thanks.

those pics are much better ! ide bet my house that that dog has 50 percent collie the only distingushing feature is the tail which could have come
from siberian husky-akita-chow chow-shar pei- the list goes on
its hard to say because the build of the dog doesnt realy look like any of those breeds to me to me it looks like its the only trait other than any personality traits that the spitz family dog left behind
gorgeous dog by the way
hope this makes sence ime terrible at explaining what i mean lol

I would tend to agree with the Shelter - collie/husky mix. Do you have any reason to doubt what they have said?

No I agree, definately collie and i say husky. I looked at the paperwork last night from the place i got him and it says he is husky/shepard mix, says nothing about collie.
