Unhappy Unanswered: Cyst on dog's lip

My Chihuahua has a cyst on her lip and it is pinking colored, should I be concerned.

It wouldnt hurt to have it looked at. Usually they go away, but there is the odd time that it can become infected and quite sore. Personally, I would be going to the vet, but I understand that they can charge out the butt just to "take a look" but you shouldnt leave it too long.

Cyst mostly go by its own but if it is not going you must take your dog to vet before it get serious.

My Alsatian had a cyst on his gum-line for ever. It never came to anything, but you must get a Vet`s opinion.

Usually they say to keep an eye on it, just like us and usually that is the end of it, rather like a wart. Not serious, just something that is not wanted.

Yes I would definitely get the opinion of a vet. That way you can know for sure what it is and hear the vet's suggestions. Mostly they do just suggest to keep an eye on it. But there is no harm in checking! (except for the bills!)
