we have a 5 mth old shihtzu he sleeps in his kennel was good since we got him the last week we put him in for the night and he tries to get out and barks lots what could be the problem? The last night I went in there he had peed on his bed.

Sounds like you're both having a rough time, are you sure he just started barking all of a sudden? Hopefully this video i found on youtube helps:
