Default Unanswered: Baby Teeth Issues

Has anyone ever experienced issues with baby teeth not coming out and becoming impacted with the adult teeth? also is this more common in toy breeds of dogs? I have a toy breed dog/puppy torkie (toy fox terrier/teacup yorkie) and have had to have 3 teeth removed at the vets on 2 seperate occasions because they were overlapping the adult teeth and were in there pretty tight , not loose at all, and one ended up chipping while he was chewing on a toy so off to the vet we went.. any thoughts???

My youngest dog, or should I say pup is almost 6 months old and as his puppy teeth began to fall out, some were still there when the big ones were cutting through. Eventually the adult teeth just pushed the puppy teeth out.
Now that being said, Keegan is going to be a very large of dog. Avg. weight full grown is 110-120 lbs. So I'm not sure if it's different for small breeds like yours. I would feel that large or small breeds, their teeth would come the same way??

went back to the vet last week and the first time I had to take him in they said the way the adult teeth had come in the whole way and the baby teeth were still overlapped tight they said they had not come in directly under the baby teeth causing it to impact with the adult teeth and needed to be pulled.. but all adult teeth are in and baby teeth are out so the issue is resolved thankfully
