The DNA tests are not very reliable. If you post a pic we may be able to help identify some other breed in her.
Leswhite - have you registered with Dogslost? It's so much worse when you don't live in the area where the dog was lost but there are some publicity measures that really do help:
Dogslost is great so make sure your dog is posted with them. Contact local radio for the county where you were staying, and the surrounding areas. Dog wardens - within maybe a 30 mile radius. Again even though she is a small dog she could have moved or have been moved quite a distance so check any rescues in the area. Ask local postmen to look out for her. Lots of dogs are spotted by postmen as they often notice a new dog on the block.
Is she spayed and microchipped? Both those things will reduce the likeliehood of her being stolen and kept - if she is spayed she is no use for breeding and if she is chipped a decent vet should pick it up.
Finally, just to encourage you, I have heard of a Patterdale terrier who went missing while being worked. He eventually came home FOUR MONTHS later skinny but none the worse for his adventure having survived on creatures he had caught and killed.

Outside of a dog a book is man's best friend. Inside a dog it's too dark to read!
