Default Unanswered: old dog new dog peeing

Hi iam new to here, please help me if you can all help is great.

I have an 8 year old female shar-pei and i have just got a 12 week old male bull terrier, we are having a problem house training him, now my shar-pei has started peeing on the floor as well, she has never done this before,
Why is she and how can i stop it.

You first need to rule out whether there's a medical reason since it's not normal for her to do this. With her age being 8, I would be more concerned it was heatlh related verse behavioral. Good luck and let us know what the vet finds.

A rolled up newspaper can be an effective training tool when used properly. For instance, use the rolled-up newspaper if your dog chews up something inappropriate or has a housebreaking accident. Bring the dog over to the destroyed object (or mess), then take the rolled-up newspaper and hit yourself over the head as you repeat the phrase,"I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG, I FORGOT TO WATCH MY DOG!"

Try checking for a doctor first.

If there's no problem, I suggest you buy your dog a training pad where there's a large pad and there's a specific scent on that pad. Dogs would usually pee and poop there because of a specific smell.
