Hello. I'm new to this site, and I have a question. So, my dog got into a Equate Gel Hot/Cold pack, the label said - WARNING: BITTERING AGENT ADDED TO DISCOURAGE INGESTION OF PRODUCT. I just wanna know if my doggy will be okay?
I did call my vet, they suggested that I make him vomit, so I used Hydrogen Peroxide, and it worked, but I didn't have Activated Charcole to calm his stomach after that.
Geeze, I was in such a hurry, I forgot to copy what I sent in the email!
Just get to the vet immediately--time may be of the essence--some gel packs have the poison that is in antifreeze and can shut down the kidneys very very fast and if not caught quick enough--your dog could die!!
Make sure your vet does not poo poo this away---Insist on something being done--NOW!
I sure hope this is enough to do---What do you think, REE!!!--You are a nurse! Isn't there more than can be done? Is the vet taking this serious enough!!!?
