Unanswered: 2 Yr old Border Collie, Scared of going on walks.
I have a 2 year old Border Collie who, until a couple of months ago, loved to go on walks.
Unfortunately, these past two months more and more planes have flying overhead than ever, and now shes too scared too leave the house.
After hearing a plane while walking she'll refuse to walk that route again.
There is nowhere else to take her now, and I am desparate for advice.

We can discuss products on here. We just can't come on here for the sole purpose of discussing some new invention we want to sell and crap like that. Have you tried to put a Thundershirt on your dog and then try to walk it? Thundershirts work great for anxiety in dogs.
Also, don't interact with your dog when it acts fearful. It only makes your dog think it's ok to be scared. Just act like nothing is out of the ordinary and give lots of treats when a plane flies over.

Thank you for the clarification. The product I was talking about for Anxiety that I use on my Border Collie is @Eaze - Calming Gel sold by PetzLife. Works really well.

Try finding her favorite kind of food, something super yummy, and everytime she hears the noise that spooks her give her a treat. Continue doing this and she may find it to ba a happy thing instead of something to fear. My border collie mix shelter dog had this problem, except it was when walking by any car, moving or at a stand still. He eventually got over it, and this is how I started him over it. Hope this helps.
