We bought a 4 year old great dane two weeks ago, and it was apparent by the smell and the condition of the dog, that the previous owners did not care for her at all. We have take her in, got her cleaned up and she is great. The previous owners were feeding her kibble and bits, we switched her to Blackwood. The dog is vomiting 3-4 times per day, mostly at night. We have reduced her feeding (I am familiar with bloat), and took her to the vet. The Vet says she is healthy, yet the vomiting continues. Any suggestions??

Your dog may be allergic to something in your dog food. I would try feeding your dog a home-cooked or raw diet to try to rule that out. Try meat only for a few days and see if it continues. Some dogs are allergic to corn or wheat or rice or other fillers they use in dog food. I would also have your vet do x-rays of the abdominal area to make sure there isn't any blockage anywhere.
