Default Unanswered: My brand new puppy has a narrow protruding rib cage

Hi everyone,
Im really hoping someone can offer me a little information. I just bought puppy today, she is a 9 week old Boston Terrier. Absolutely adorable. and seemingly in good health. Since I brought her home about 7 hours ago, she has eaten, gone to the bathroom (a couple times) and played. The only problem with her is that she has a very narrow protruding rib cage. not all that visably noticable. but very much so when you touch her chest. I actually noticed it before i bought her. and the breeder told me she had brought her to the vet with the rest of the puppies for their exam's and the vet said she was healthy, but her chest had narrowed out in the birthing canal. I personally have never heard of this before, I was hoping someone out there could offer up some expertise. Is this okay. anything i should keep an eye open for?

I have never heard of or saw this before. I would take your dog to the vet and have it examined. Your breeder should never breed that particular dog ever again. Was the dam too young and the canal wasn't big enough to properly deliver the pup? I reread it and it's a Boston terrier. Those dogs have a hard time delivering and a lot of them end up having pups through c-section. I would seriously take your dog to the vet and have it examined and make sure there is enough room for all of the organs and the heart. You don't want your dog to get bigger and die due to heart problems or something else due to improper breeding practices.
